Prof Alessandro Pozzi, DDS, has been in practice in Rome, Italy since 1997 and is formally trained in the inter-related areas of Orthodontics, Oral surgery, and Prosthodontics. He is Full Professor in Oral Sciences by appointment of the Italian Ministry of Education and Research and he is Adjunct Associate Professor at the Goldstein Center for Aesthetics and Implant Dentistry of Augusta University, USA. He is also a Guest Lecturer in the Continuing Education in Implant Dentistry program at the UCLA University, Los Angeles. A widely published researcher and scientist, Dr Pozzi conducts clinical research on cutting-edge technologies to integrate digital workflows in clinical practice. In recognition of his research, he was awarded the 2013 Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award in the Clinical Report Category. He is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, where he serves on the Research and the Website Education Committees, as well as being an active member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He is an Editorial Board Member of Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research and was Co-Editor of the textbook “Fundamentals of Implant dentistry: Surgical Principles” by Quintessence Publishing, USA. Dr Pozzi has lectured in the most prestigious congresses and academies since 2010. He leads international training courses on digital implant dentistry, dynamic navigation guided surgery and aesthetics in his center for Oral Rehabilitation based in Rome Italy.
